1. Does the hotel have a crib for me, what should I ask?
Make ABSOLUTELY sure that it is a crib. Plenty hotels will tell you that it is a crib, but it really is a a pack-n-play. Ask if it is wood or metal, the metal ones are generally not the most pleasant cribs. Ask if the mattress is a full thickness (5 inch) not the thinner one (3 inches). Most hotels use the thin mattresses and they just are not very comfortable. Also be aware of hotels using ADULT-SIZED sheets for the cribs. This is extremely unsafe, and should be avoided as it poses a strangulation hazard for babies. If they do not offer crib sheets, it is unsafe to use that crib!
Make sure always to bring two fitting sheets on your vacation and avoid surprises.
2. What if I need to cancel?
We understand that plans change and if you need to cancel please provide as much notice as possible. Depending on the location and the time of year you are renting the equipment, the cancellation policies vary with each location. That being said, we do understand that emergencies happen and we will work with you to the best of our ability.
Is the equipment new?
All of our equipment is either new or in excellent condition (gently used). We pride ourselves on the quality and cleanliness of our merchandise. Each item is thoroughly inspected before each rental.
4. Will the Car Seat be installed for me in the car?
We cannot do this for liability reasons. We leave this up to the customer.
5. Will you install baby cribs ?
We do install cribs for each and every client that request our service. The installation is free and also the pickup is free.
6. How long have you been in business?
Aruba Crib Rental has been in business since 2010. We started our service in Aruba and have been expanding to other nearby Islands in the area throughout the Caribbean. Currently we have upgrade our web-site to better serve our customers.
7. Is the equipment sanitized?
Yes, prior to each new rental, all equipment is cleaned and sanitized. The equipment is also inspected for safety before each rental. We treat the equipment as if our own children were using it.
